1. How Care Is Delivered
Every patient completes a health questionnaire that is reviewed by a licensed healthcare provider. That provider decides, using your medical history and applicable clinical guidelines, whether treatment is appropriate for you. Treatment is prescribed only if a licensed provider determines it is appropriate.
The provider who evaluates you is the provider responsible for your care. Your provider-patient relationship is with that clinician and the professional entity they practice through, not with Suncoast Trim. Follow-up visits, dose changes, and any decision to stop treatment are theirs to make.
Prescriptions are transmitted to a licensed pharmacy for dispensing. On the brand-name pathway, that is the pharmacy you choose. On the compounded pathway, it is a licensed pharmacy assigned by the care platform that supports your provider.
2. What Suncoast Trim Does
Suncoast Trim provides administrative support and care coordination. That includes:
- Operating this website and the technology you use to complete your questionnaire, message your care team, and track your progress;
- Coordinating appointments, refills, and communication between you, your provider, and the dispensing pharmacy;
- Non-clinical health coaching and education about nutrition, movement, sleep, and habits;
- Billing and customer support for the programs sold on this site.
3. What Suncoast Trim Does Not Do
- Suncoast Trim does not practice medicine, diagnose conditions, or provide medical advice;
- Suncoast Trim does not prescribe, compound, or dispense medication;
- Suncoast Trim does not decide who qualifies for treatment, which medication is prescribed, or at what dose;
- Suncoast Trim does not employ the providers who evaluate you or direct their clinical judgment;
- Suncoast Trim does not pay a provider for writing a prescription, and no part of a provider's compensation depends on whether treatment is prescribed.
4. Licensing and Credentialing
Providers in the network hold an active, unrestricted license in the state where the patient is located at the time of the visit. Licensure, credentials, malpractice coverage, and disciplinary history are verified before a provider sees patients and are re-verified on a regular schedule.
The network changes as providers join and leave, so this page does not list individual clinicians. The name and credentials of the provider responsible for your care appear in your patient portal, and you may request them at any time by writing to health@suncoasttrimclinic.com.
5. Where Services Are Available
Services are available only in states where the independent providers are licensed, and availability may change. If no provider in the network is licensed in your state, you will be told before any program fee is charged.
Services are self-pay. We do not bill insurance.
6. Questions About Your Care
Clinical questions belong with your provider and are best sent as a message in your patient portal, where they become part of your record. For anything administrative, write to health@suncoasttrimclinic.com or call (941) 900-4290.
A note on medical care
