The method

The GLP-1 Blueprint

Lana wrote the book on using GLP-1 medication to build a body that stays. Five pillars, in order, each one holding up the next. Every Suncoast program is built on them.

Medication is the first pillar, not the whole structure. Take it away and the other four are still the plan.

The five pillars

What we coach, and why it is in this order

  1. 01

    Medication strategy

The right molecule, the right dose, for the right amount of time. Decided by your provider, explained by your coach.

A medication should be doing a job you can name. Your provider decides whether prescription treatment is appropriate for you and, if it is, which molecule and what dose. Your coach makes sure you understand what it is doing, what it is not doing, and what you are meant to be building while it works.

    What that looks like

    • A starting dose chosen from your history, not a protocol everyone gets
    • Titration paced to how you actually feel, decided by your provider
    • A plan for the dose you stay on, written long before you need it
  2. 02

    Muscle preservation

Protein targets and strength training so the scale drops fat, not the muscle that keeps your metabolism running.

Weight loss without resistance training takes muscle with it, and muscle is the tissue that keeps your metabolism working. This is the pillar people skip and the one that decides how you look and feel at the end. You do not need a gym you hate or six days a week.

    What that looks like

    • A daily protein target set for your body, checked at every visit
    • Two or three strength sessions a week, scaled to where you start
    • Lean mass watched on the scale, not just the number on it
  3. 03

    Nutritional stability

Simple, repeatable eating that works on a suppressed appetite and still works when the appetite comes back.

Appetite on a GLP-1 goes quiet, and most people eat too little, lose muscle, and feel terrible. Then the appetite comes back and there is no habit underneath. Nutritional stability means eating that works in both states, so nothing has to be rebuilt later.

    What that looks like

    • A short list of meals you can repeat when nothing sounds good
    • Hydration and electrolytes to blunt the common side effects
    • Fiber and food order to keep digestion comfortable
  4. 04

    Nervous system regulation

Sleep, stress and recovery habits, because a body under constant stress holds on to weight.

A body under constant stress holds on to weight, sleeps badly, and reaches for food it does not need. Nervous system regulation is the least glamorous pillar and often the one that unlocks a stall. Your coach treats sleep and stress as program inputs, not as personal failings.

    What that looks like

    • A sleep window you protect the way you protect a dose
    • A short daily practice that brings your stress down on purpose
    • Honest triggers named early, so eating is not the only exit
  5. 05

    Objective feedback

Body-composition tracking at home with the Hume Health smart scale, so progress shows even when the number stalls.

The bathroom scale measures one thing badly. Body composition tracking at home shows fat, lean mass, and water separately, so a week where the number holds still can still be a good week. Objective feedback is what turns coaching from opinion into a decision.

    What that looks like

    • Body composition read at home with the Hume Health smart scale
    • Trends reviewed with your coach, never a single morning's number
    • Measurements and photos as the slower, steadier record

The medication is one pillar. We coach the other four.

Start with a short online intake. A licensed provider reviews it and decides whether treatment is appropriate for you.

Individual results vary. Weight loss is not guaranteed. Suncoast Trim Clinic provides administrative and care coordination services and does not practice medicine. Medical evaluations and prescribing are performed solely by independently licensed healthcare providers.
